Students may choose from a variety of enrichment experiences which may change from year to year depending on interests of participants and volunteers.
MOVE & LEARN - Grades K-2, meets on the first Monday of the month from 3:25-4:25 p.m. (Oct.-Mar.) *No meeting during the month of January
Students will explore a variety of picture books and learning activities that involve movement and games!

DESIGNS & SIGNS - Grades 5-8, meets on the first Monday of the month from 3:25-4:00 p.m. (Oct.-Apr.)
Learn the process and make signs and small designs out of wood. They will design, paint, put the letters on, and frame at least one sign and one small design. Mr. Baird will lead this group. (limit 10)
FOOD PLAY - Grades 1 & 2, meets on the first Monday of the month from 3:25-4:30 p.m. (Oct.-Apr.)
Students will play, create with, and learn about a variety of foods. This group is led by Mrs. Reiter and Mrs.

Students will have a hands-on opportunity to explore and create no-bake food options. This group is led by

COOKING CLASS - Grades 5 & 6, meets on the third Monday of the month from 3:25-4:30 p.m. (Oct.-Apr.)

CHARGER MASTERY CLUB - Grades 4-8, meets on Tuesdays 3:35-4:15 p.m. (beginning in October)
Decide which of the 86 challenges in the areas of social studies, science, language arts, math, and miscellaneous topics you would like to learn about. (limit 15)
BOOK CLUB - Grades 5 & 6, meets on Tuesdays from Oct. 4 to Nov. 8 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Students will read a banned book and analyze the story to discuss why it is considered a banned book. Mrs. Carrier will lead this group. (limit 10)
HOLIDAY COLORING CREW - Grades 3-6, meets on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:15 p.m. (Nov. 2 to Dec. 14)
Students will create works of coloring and guided crafts to brighten others' day! We will take many of our creations to our Partners in Excellence, the Western Home. Mrs. Frederiksen will lead this group. (limit 15)
MATH COUNTS - Grades 6-8, meets on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:00 p.m. (Sept.-Mar.)
Students work in a group setting to solve problems that cover concepts in Algebra, Geometry, Logic, Probability, and more. Students interested in competition or in improving their math skills are encouraged to attend. It is led by Mrs. Funk. (No fee required.)
ST. PATS JAZZ COMBO - Grades 6-8, meets on Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. for first semester. Meeting time for second semester - TBD. A minimum of one year of experience on your instrument is required.
This group is for students who want to play and perform more in a small group setting to create a challenge for themselves outside of the normal band class. The types of music we play will be open to student input. We could work on jazz, ensembles or combo music, percussion ensembles, or quartets and trios of different varieties! This group will be led by Mrs. Lawrence.
ST. PATS SINGERS - Grades 7 & 8, meets on Fridays from 3:25-4:00 p.m. (Oct.-May)
This is an extra-curricular singing group created to give students the opportunity to develop independence in part-singing while working together with a group to create vocal harmony. They will record or do a live performance in December and May. Mrs. Grimm leads this group.
YEARBOOK CLUB - Grades 5-8, meets on scheduled days from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Students will be able to schedule days during the first or second semester that work with their sports and other after-school activities. Students will select roles that interest them, including interviewing, writing, photography, and using software to design pages. Some work, such as writing, may be done outside of the meeting time. Mrs. Dobson will lead this group.

Babysitting Clinic Learn to provide basic care for children, develop activities, and give basic first aid.
Girls Golf - Grades 5-8 Learn and practice the basic skills and techniques needed for the game of golf.
Journey North - Grades 3 & 4 Be a citizen scientist who observes seasonal changes and reports our hummingbird sightings.
There is a one-time fee of $15 per student, per activity (except Math Counts), to help cover the cost of project materials and supplies.
ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES OFFERED VIA SEPARATE REGISTRATION
First Lego League, Junior (Grades 1-3) and First Lego League (Grades 4-8)
Students are introduced to science, technology, engineering, and math concepts while working with Legos to examine real-world scientific problems. A separate First Lego League letter goes out each fall with more information and registration. Coordinator: Mrs. Neumann. Separate registration is required.

In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right-now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It's fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today - and for life. Mr. Strei is the contact person for this activity. Separate registration is required."
Our after-school Enrichment Activities complement other opportunities at St. Patrick such as Battle of the Books, Leader in Me jobs, Opus Honor Choir, John Deere's Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, and more.
Additional Enrichment Activities may be added during the year.
