Recent renovations at St. Patrick Catholic School provide our growing enrollment with a fresh, state-of-the-art learning environment.
Air conditoning, an elevator, new flooring, and updates to all classrooms and shared spaces were components of the Next Step Project, which also included work at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
The Margaret Pardoe Collaboration and Communication Center (above), formerly known as the Multi-Purpose Room, has overgone a complete remodeling. New audio-visual equipment and movable furniture make this a wonderful space for assemblies, special events, and student collaboration and library time. It is used beyond the school day for our before and after school Circle of Care program.
A new science lab, art studio, and remodeled band room serve grades 5-8. All grades enjoy the expanded vocal music room. Bathrooms have been completely renovated with new ones constructed on the main level.
The main entrance and office addition on Washington Street provide enhanced security, a conference room, more functional office space, and a welcoming entry for families and visitors.
These upgrades have prompted other donations and improvements at school and a concurrent increase in enrollment. New modular classroom furniture allows flexibile arrangements for collaborative work. Interactive white boards facilitate teaching and learning. LED lighting provided by a generous donor has been installed.
Clover Patch Preschool was extensively renovated in summer 2013. This spacious area for ages 3–5 includes classroom and adjoining day care spaces with a colorful and whimsical biblical theme to spark creative minds.
Students enjoy use of the full-size, modern gym at St. Patrick for physical education classes and after-school athletics.
