Do you drive your student to school?

If your student DOES NOT ride the St. Patrick Catholic School bus to and/or from school, and you live more than 2 miles away from school, you may qualify for reimbursement from the state for taking your student to school.

“The non-public transportation reimbursement claim is the way by which parents of children attending a non-public school, or school districts, may get reimbursed for at least a part of their transportation costs. The funding for this program is appropriated by the legislature from the State of Iowa’s general fund.” For questions visit the Iowa Dept. of Education website.

Non-Public Transportation (bus reimbursement) forms are due to the St. Patrick School office by Friday, Nov. 18 if you would like us to submit them for you.
