Hello! I have been teaching at St. Patrick School since 2011. Prior to coming to St. Patrick, I taught at Columbus Catholic High School for seven years. I love being a part of a Catholic school and have taught a variety of material to a variety of ages. Currently, I teach 5-8 Language Arts and Speech. I love being able to work with older students and seeing the growth they make from grade five to grade eight.

I grew up in Cedar Falls and attended St. Patrick School through eighth grade. I then went on to Columbus and attended Loras College in Dubuque, graduating in 2004. Right after college, I moved back to Waterloo and married my husband, Michael, in December of 2004. We have four children: Frank, who attends Columbus Catholic High School,  and Rudy, Loras, and Juniper, who attend St. Patrick School. 

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, read, exercise, and try new recipes. I love to learn and try new things! 

I feel very blessed to be part of the St. Patrick community. I love my job, and have found that the students and parents are extremely supportive!
