After previously teaching at St. Patrick for ten years and then six years at Sacred Heart in Waterloo, I returned to St. Patrick School to teach two of my favorite subjects, art and language arts. St. Patrick has always been an upstanding school, and I credit the successes of my own grown children to the wonderful teachings, both academically and spiritually, they received here as students. I feel extremely fortunate to be at a school that feels like family and is highly respected for its expectations for both staff and students. 

My husband and I had the same kindergarten teacher, went to junior high and high school together, but didn't start dating until we had both graduated from college. We moved to Cedar Falls when my husband bought a dental practice here, and we started a family shortly after. We have been married for 31 years and have been St. Patrick parisioners since 1989.

We have three children, Jillian and Mitchell who live and work in Des Moines and Reed who is a student at the University of Iowa. All three have fond memories of their years at St. Patrick.

In my free time I like to exercise, read, read, read, and enjoy spending time with my family. I usually have at least two art projects I'm working on simultaneously. I love to see students enjoying art and am in awe of kids' creativity and what they can produce.
