Schaefer, Paul

I joined the St. Patrick School as part time maintenance staff in 2006. Since then I have taken on some custodial duties within the school as well as assisting at the church. I was a member of the Cedar Falls Fire Department for 29 years, retiring in January 2014.

My wife Deb and I were married in 1979. We have five children, who are all products of Catholic education. We have three grandchildren and a fourth on the way. Our oldest granddaughter, Claire, is a student at St. Patrick School. I enjoy family, friends, woodworking, hunting and working at our small acreage near Protivin, Iowa.

The atmosphere at St. Patrick is comfortable and inviting. Working with all of the staff is fun.
